Verdict

John Gosden has a fine strike rate with his occasional runners on the Fibresand so handicap debutante Moondust will likely prove popular. But she hasn’t pulled up any trees in maiden company and WESTERN PRESENCE looks a safer proposition. Richard Fahey’s colt beat higher rated horses than these to win a seller over track and trip earlier this month and will be difficult to beat. Cool Echo returned a losing favourite in a maiden race over 5f here on New Year’s Day and this is tougher but Mister Freeze may improve if taking to the surface now handicapping for the first time.
