Verdict

GENERAL TUFTO can get back to winning ways although More Time Tim and Barataria are obvious dangers on the book. A poor draw last week was the undoing of the progressive four-year-old as he attempted to land the four timer. Holly Hall can claim five pounds in this race and that may make all the difference in the finish. More Time Tim beat some fairly exposed types in decent fashion last week. Ross Atkinson has ridden winners in the past but will be riding the former Irish inmate for the first time in public. Lance Betts has ridden plenty of winners in this sphere so Barataria has to be respected. He has gone well for an amateur or inexperienced pilot in the past. Downhill Skier has been in good nick but the handicapper appears to have got him in check. Montiboli has headgear on for the first time in almost a year. Rock Anthem has a point to prove. The former Paul Cole trained, Sri Kuantan was well turned over on his previous visit to Southwell but has won at Lingfield in the past. General Tufto secures the nomination.
