In depth

Verdict

TOMMY THE RASCAL may finally open his account over fences here having finished runner-up in three of his previous four attempts. Jennie Candlish’s charge can race off the same mark as when second at Catterick last time. The Chuckmeister and Cleve Cottage finished practically upsides behind Amberjam at Uttoxeter last month and both could figure while Celtic Tune ran well at Carlisle on last month’s chasing bow and is preferred to Ashford Wood, who continues to struggle despite slipping down the weights.
