Verdict

Old-timer That's The Deal is holding his form well but has not managed a win here in 17 previous attempts. Stormbay Bomber made all over track and trip just under three weeks ago but has been put up 5lb for that and faces a battle for the lead from Stynes, though he was beaten in a match at Fakenham after winning at Worcester. SOLAR IMPULSE ran a lot better than his final placing suggests last time at Aintree. He’s thrown in on his old form and may be worth one more chance with the race likely to be run to suit. Cape Caster won at Worcester two runs ago but collateral form suggests he has a bit to find with Stynes.
