Verdict

Hammer Gun won this in 2017, one of seven course victories from just 15 starts including from 5lb lower a fortnight ago. He's almost certain to get into contention but THE GREAT WALL has found 6f on the short side on his last two starts here and, as he once won by 19l over 7f on the track, stepping up to this trip for the first time looks the correct option. Tum Tum was 1l behind Hammer Gun last time and has never won on the track but looks to have a bit of scope and it would be no surprise if her reversed the form. Master Diver, a maiden winner at Dundalk in January, makes his debut on the surface but has only had five starts so is entitled to make progress while Majestic Moon won over the track and trip last January from 7lb higher.
