STELLA BLUE was placed in a similar race in May off a mark of 60 and having flopped on turf in three subsequent starts, Kevin Ryan’s filly gets to take her chance off a significantly lower figure this afternoon. Phoenix Star returns from a lengthy layoff and is one to note in the market while The Waiting Game has no such issues and Jack Jones’ filly has won two recent races at Chelmsford in fairly convincing fashion. Noble Captain is still a maiden though she’s shaped with a degree of promise in events at Newcastle and Wolverhampton. Antony Brittain won this race a couple of years ago albeit backers of Eldeyaar will need to apply a rather heavy leap of faith.
