The veteran General Tufto must be approaching some sort of record for consecutive seconds. He finished runner-up for the seventh time in a row earlier this month. Just Five has ran well on the Polytrack either side of finishing tailed off at this track but Wotalad went very close over 7f here back in December. COLUMBIAN ROULETTE should have already won at this venue but unshipped his jockey when clear of the field in the closing stages. He failed to make amends when runner-up back here in January but gets another chance to finally come good competing off the same mark today.
