Verdict

PLAY THE ACE (NAP) has a cracking record around here and this looks a bit easier than recent tests with James Bowen's 7lb claim a massive plus. Milord will need to jump better than on his only previous try over fences but is handicapped to go close if doing so. Allthegear No Idea doesn't have many miles on the clock for a 10-year-old and has shown enough over fences to suggest he can play a part while Kalifourchon should have learned from his fifth at Worcester in September. Beau Du Brizais and the returning Amber Gambler and Fields of Glory are worth a market check.
