In depth

Verdict

This sharp track will play to Ei Ei strengths. He is a bold front runner and could well take a bit of pegging back around here. Kassala looks some way below her best at present, while noble Comic may just find one or two of these too sharp for him round here. The Handicapper looks to have taken no chances with Moon Glow, who has been raised 8lbs for winning a non event on bank holiday monday, but Saragann is still open to improvement having had only six races to date over fences. Hesk, returning from almost two years on the sideline is an interesting runner. A winner of four novice chases, he was made a short price favourite to make it five, but he only got as far as the second fence. Off the course since, he is unlikely to want for fitness and he could prove to be let in lightly here.
