In depth

Formwatch

Arizona Bold Pulled up on last start but saddle slipped, so can be ignored. Still a maiden, and has run into some credible places, but unlikely winner today.

Barrigan's Hill (IRE) Making his chasing debut late in life at the age of 11. Useful enough over hurdles, and best watched on his chasing debut today.

Danny Gale (IRE) No chance here; horse and jockey will be aiming to complete.

Foxy Dawn Is a winning pointer, but having made the transition to regulation fences holds little appeal.

Lord Fleet (IRE) Was going well when fell four out at Ballinroe on chasing debut in July. Won a maiden hurdle prior to that; best watched today.

Mazamet (USA) Improved run last time out when second to Thunderpoint at Bangor over this trip. Wore first time blinkers on that occasion and wears them again today; should go well.

Minivet Coming from an in form yard. Recent form on the flat and over hurdles only moderate and has not won since April 2000. Best watched on chasing debut.

Talathath (FR) Has won over hurdles; but chasing efforts make him an unlikely contender today.

Thyne Will Tell (IRE) Just beaten on chasing debut in August, has campaigned well over the summer with three hurdle wins in May. Likely to improve on last run which makes him a very likely contender.

Willie Wallace (IRE) He has pulled up on his last four starts and makes little appeal today.

Leila Made little appeal when campaigning over hurdles. Pulled up on her chasing debut; easily opposed.

Persrolla A winning hurdler, but very uninspiring form over fences.

Rith Dubh (IRE) Dissapointing when 22l second to Lord Podgski on British Debut in May. Has had plenty time off and should appreciate the step up in trip; one to consider.
