Mumbles Head gets the vote here with Dazzling Jim and Young Dude rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair second behind Go On Ahead last time out, that form looks rock solid in the context of this race and if he is fit after an abscence under conditions that suit he will be hard to beat. Dazzling Jim rates the main danger on his latest second behind Warpath but he has had plenty of chances without taking one and is opposed for that reason.Yoing Dude is another worthy of respect on his best form, he is from a yard in form and should be closely watcheed in the market. Monsieur Delage is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he has already given the impression he would be suited by a longer trip. Of the remainder Satchelman is another that has shown a modicum of ability but he may be seen to better effect in handicaps and with this in mind for the winner we return to Mumbles Head.
