Verdict

Polished returns from break but is up to completing a four-timer at the expense of Mister Moussac, Buffalo Bill, Guist In Temp and Sunley Future to name but a few. Polished won a couple of selling races for Richard Guest before moving to Victor Dartnell, and showed that he had quickly settled in by beating a host of future winners at Newton Abbot in June. Put away since with an autumn campaign in mind, he can make the most of what is still a fair handicap mark of 108. The recent rain will ensure that he has conditions in his favour, and the six-year-old is taken to defy topweight. Mister Moussac has tumbled in the weights and made the most of that fact at Worcester last time. He was well in command when his nearest rival came down and should make a bold bid for the frame at least. Buffalo Bill was consistent last year but may well need the run, while Guist In Temp scrambled home in a Worcester maiden hurdle and has more to do. Sunley Future was pulled up on his last visit here in April and is yet another that returns to the fray. Hailing from a top yard, he should be watched, but preference is much for Polished.
