Verdict

Play The Ace finished ahead of both Gentleman Moore and Perfect Timing when third to Our Cat, who runs earlier on the card, at Market Rasen last month and has each-way claims again here. Hepijeu runs his best races here but has become a little disappointing. Thoonavolla has had a break since finishing fourth over hurdles at Worcester in June but Houston Dynimo is starting to look very well treated and shouldn't be far away if in the mood. PRESENT ACCEPTED completed his hat-trick stepped up this grade at Newton Abbot and, though 6lb higher, may not have stopped winning just yet.
