Verdict

DESTRIER was an early faller trying a new trip at Uttoxeter in June. Rested since, this looks more his cup of tea though he wouldn’t want any significant rain. Larch Hill goes particularly well here and Brian Hughes has been on board for his last four victories. Rostello was well behind La Domaniale when Jonjo O’Neill’s runner was an excellent second in the Grade 3 Summer Plate at Market Rasen. The latter has gone up 5lb but the third has won since. De Barley Basket has had wind surgery since pulled up at Worcester but he looks in the handicapper’s grip now.
