        Verdict

        Those with experience look a modest bunch so we'll concentrate on the newcomers. African Gold is by leading NH sire King's Theatre but may find this an insufficient test of stamina. Richard Johnson partner Champagne N Caviar for Rebecca Curtis and he's from the same family as several decent performers on the Flat but we prefer KILMURVY. Though he was a cheap purchase, the Shantou gelding is out of a Flat winner and his pedigree suggests he may have a little more basic speed than his rivals.
