    Verdict

CALAF has failed to come up to expectations since landing a course and distance success in April in Class 4 handicap company but still rates far superior to this opposition on the formbook, dropped somewhat surprisingly into selling grade for the first time. Maurice Linehan was in the saddle on that successful spring day and retains the ride. The partnership should be more than good enough. School For Scandal returns from a long absence and Kyles Faith was well beaten in a seller on his last hurdles run so Adiynara looks the likeliest one to cause any upset. She scored on the Kempton Polytrack in March and didn't perform too badly when last seen when a respectable sixth at Bath in a 13-runner good ground handicap.
