In depth

Verdict

Fort Gabriel’s winning run came to an end at Uttoxeter last month and he may be in the handicapper’s grip now. Irish raider Scripturient could be interesting but 2m6 around here looks too sharp for Strumble Head. Florida Calling has been threatening but is not the most consistent so WADE HARPER is preferred. Though still a maiden over fences, he probably came up against a decent recruit last time at Uttoxeter and has dropped to a fair mark.
