Gerrard, Stroom Bank and IIoveturtle are three against the field in another tough race to call for punters and the narrow nomination is given to Stroom Bank. The selection won well last time out when beating Jupon Vert and although having a penalty for that win he again has conditions to suit and he looks the one to be on. Gerrard rates the main danger on his best form but he ran as if the handicapper had caught up with him last time out and is taken on with this in mind. Iloveturtle was a fair third behind Kercabellec last time out and is another with place claims but he is often let down by his jumping at a critical stage. Tadeusz Mandziej is from a shrewd in form yard and could go well at a price off what looks a fair mark. Of the remainder Blazing Guns will appreciate the faster ground and is another that could go well but in a race where few can be fancied for the winner we return to Stroom Bank.
