Andrew Boxhall's Irish Legend is the clear pick of the weights judged by official BHA ratings but he has struggled in his last two starts, both over fences, in which he has been pulled up and may do better now switched back to the smaller obstacles but he is hard to back with any confidence and a better bet may prove to be HERALDRY, who is preferred to Dusty Dane. Bill Turner's gelding has also been campaigned over fences of late and, like Irish Legend, has been running below par of late but he has to be respected back over hurdles in a race that should not take much winning. Alison Thorpe's Tabaran has been running consistently well in similar contests to this in recent starts having been placed in each of his last four starts and he should be thereabouts again but may once more have to settle for minor honours. Answer Me and Attorney General both have ability but are probably best watched in a race taken to go to Heraldry. Ben Haslam's gelding was not disgraced when dropped into a claimer at Wetherby last time but this is easier and a reproduction of recent form may well suffice.
