Verdict

This Handicap Chase looks wide open and ALEXANDERTHEGREAT looks well treated to over turn some form on Shammy Buskins while Painter Man searches for a hat-trick. Prior to the pick's latest placed attempt over a shorter trip he wasn't beaten that far by the re-opposing Shammy Buskins. The subsequent weight swing favours a reversal and at the forecast odds he looks value. Painter Man was all out to score over couple of furlongs less last time and may find it hard to follow up after a 7lbs mark rise unless a short break has freshened him up. Trigonometry was an easy winner of a similar race last time and can go well from this revised mark while Petite Margot is one of the few in this field to win over this far. A truly open contest where Alexanderthegreat looks a bit of value off this mark.
