Verdict

It's more than a year since GREEN BANK was last in the winner's enclosure but he's dropped to a fair mark as a result. It would be no surprise to see Charlie Longsdon's gelding put recent modest performances behind him back here with the blinkers expected to help. West End won easily at Southwell on only his third try over fences and will make a bold bid to follow up under a penalty. Kim Bailey's charge has more scope than the mares Another Kate and Moulin De La Croix, both winners last time. The latter did beat Boosha here four weeks ago and should confirm that form but Kalamill needs more.
