In depth

Verdict

Antony Ebeneezer can utilise match fitness to beat Dramatic Quest and Medallist. Mick Fitzgerald seems to have built up a decent partnership with Conor Dore's horse and the pair can take another scalp today having been dropped back to a much more suitable trip. Dramatic Quest has bits and pieces of form in the offing although he has been campaigned over further on his previous National Hunt starts. Medallist has passed through a number of hands on his way to Evan Williams. He is a highly quirky individual who will need to be on his best behaviour to start the race let alone win it. Ambersong is likely to be well supported following a win in a recent Ludlow seller. This is a slightly better race so more will be required. Brochrua who finished second in that race reopposes off better terms. This is Looking Down's level although he has show little since leaving Patrick Haslam to join John Allen. Lanos has ability although very little of it has been in evidence in his forays into better grade. Not a race to be having the mortgage on but Antony Ebeneezer is at least running well and gets our selection.
