In depth

Verdict

Athnowen, Ain Tecbalat and Pounsley Mill look the main protagonists in this tight affair and we will side with Athnowen. The gelding defeated Strong Magic in good style last time out and although that rival is better off at the weights Athenowen won with plenty in hand and he is taken to score. Ain Tecbalet rates the main danger. He was a good second behind Mr Cospector last time and he will not be far away. However he looks in the handicappers grip at present.Reflex Courier is better over further. So in a race that throws up more questions than answers we are happy to side with Athnowen.
