In depth

Verdict

The Kid finished ahead of Tunnel Creek and Tamarillo Grove when third at Ludlow and was in good form at Worcester before that. Bambi Du Noyer won well at Exeter two runs ago but less impressive over a longer trip at Uttoxeter when a hot favourite. CABERNET D'ALENE (NAP) won a maiden here last season and landed a conditionals' race at Newton Abbot in September. Chester Williams is one of the more experienced jockeys riding in this and his mount can defy a 6lb rise in the weights. Polo The Mumm could figure if fully wound-up with Tempuran looking best of the rest.
