Verdict

A dreadful seller in which a couple appear to stand out on recent form. Despite pulling hard, Mount Shamsan got within two lengths of the winner at Stratford 12 days ago and any improvement on that will make him tough to beat. TAURIAN won a maiden on good going at Musselburgh in November. Back on this quicker surface, Ian Williams’ six-year-old may be capable of stepping up on a recent third at Exeter when up against more experienced rivals. Carqalin has been a huge disappointment but drops into this grade for the first time.
