There may be a big field for this opener but the standard isn’t very high. Chilli Romance has been placed several times but has also disappointed on more than one occasion. Drewmain Legend ran her best race so far last time at Chepstow when subsequent Uttoxeter runner-up Boutan was tailed off. Brean Golf Birdie must have some sort of chance and Eastern Lady is also worth a market check but KOHUMA would probably have finished ahead of the latter at Hereford had she not missed out the second-last when making ground and the booking of James Bowen suggests connections mean business today.
