Verdict

There is little to offer here in the way of quality and Martin Pipe's Ivorsagoodun is probably the one they all have to beat. She showed arguably his best form to date on his third start at Exeter last time, finishing fourth behind stable companion Fortune Island. She was placed twice over middle distances on the flat and while she is no good thing she makes her handicap debut on a fair mark and the poor quality of the opposition makes her the selection here. Best of the rest is probably Lord Ville, who has a similar profile to the selection but was 11 and a half lengths behind her last time and is only five pounds better off here. The likes of Dispol Rock and Golden Crusader look exposed and a better each-way option could be Neptune, who is only modest but open to improvement.
