Verdict

Plenty of runners in this opener, as there are in most of the other races on today's card. Rainbow Haze won at Worcester in Augusts and, after a couple of below-par efforts, was successful again at Chepstow last month. Zanstra was made favourite for a novices' handicap at Chepstow last time but was only fourth and will need more if he is to get off the mark. Theatre Goer is a consistent sort who has place claims again while Royal Chief could figure off a low weight but there is no reason why KLEITOMACHOS won't go close again following his win over a shorter trip here two weeks ago with David Noonan again taking of 5lb.
