The four to concentrate on here look to be Comanche War Paint, Igloo d'Estruval, Commanche Jim and Bramblehill Duke, and we will side with the first mentioned. The selection has been in great from this season and was only beaten a neck by Indian Chance at Wincanton last time. He goes especially well at that track and although is steadily rising in the weights, he is hard to ignore in his current rich vein of form. Igloo d'Estruval was a surprise winner last time when defeating Kildorragh, but this looks more difficult, so the main danger could come from Bramblehill Duke. This gelding from the Venetia Williams yard showed signs of a return to form when third to Coarsing Run at Newbury, and with conditions again in his favour he looks sure to run a big race. Commanche Jim is the other with chances but he was pulled-up last time so his well-being will have to be taken on trust, so in a decent contest, we will stick with Commanche War Paint.
