Verdict

KINGS BANDIT carries a double penalty but won by eight lengths over 2m here on his hurdling debut before beating a previous winner at Wetherby. He's difficult to oppose as few of the opposition have shown much in the way of ability so far. Capitol Gain has been beaten a total of 65 lengths in his two races to date over timber but King Edmund has won six times over fences, most recently at Kempton in January. The Snappy Poet showed some promise in bumpers but is likely to need more time.
