In depth

Verdict

SPEED STEED, a winner over hurdles last March and on the Flat in January, hasn't been beaten far in either of his starts over fences and should gain compensation for a long odds-on defeat by Peaks Of Fire at Sedgefield. Teshali, twice a winner over hurdles though not since 2011, makes his chasing debut and looks the one to shake up the selection as Nether Stream has run moderately in Polytrack bumpers after landing a Huntingdon selling hurdle. Apache Dawn has had 49 starts over jumps without winning and Advisor clearly isn't the force of old.
