In depth

Verdict

Stamina may be an issue bu the decent flat recruit CALL TO ARMS is narrowly preferred. Peter Bowen's gelding ran his two best races on the flat over a mile and he has joined a yard in good form; a bold bid is expected with Richard Johnson booked for the ride. The form horse is Royal And Ancient who filled sixth at Market Rasen in a solid race and with an official rating of 113 he is the horse they've all got to beat. AP McCoy takes the ride on Pullyourfingerout but the horse needs to after a Ludlow debut where he was well down the field. Free As A Lark was too keen at Ludlow last tme behind Al Dafa but she should have learnt plenty from it. The form might be called into question given the first six home were covered by less than ten lengths however. Lady Willa completes the field and is far from a back number after an improved Wincanton run behind Until The Man.
