BAHIRA is only a four-year-old but defied her inexperience with a battling success over the useful Sparkling Hand on her debut at Catterick and will know much more this time. She gets the nod though Maid Of Silk, who had the remainder well beaten when a fine second to Spe Salvi at Newton Abbot in July, looks a big threat despite her absence. Titch Strider ran well for a long way on her debut behind Shinko Moon at Wincanton but Jaya Bella has to concede weight all round after her victory on Polytrack at Lingfield early last month and may not be quite up to the task.
