In depth

Verdict

Le Passing, King Solomen and Forzacurity look the main protagonists in a competitive opener but the confident vote goes to Le Passing. The gelding from the Paul Nicholls yard won well last time out when defeating Bodfari Rose in facile style. He is sure to be fit on this his first run after a break and will be hard to beat with conditions to suit. King Solomon rates the main danger he won a maiden hurdle at Chepstow last time when defeating Patches but this looks tougher so for that reason he is opposed. Forzacurity is also worthy of respect he was a fair third in a handicap behind Moscow Dancer last time but he does not have as much scope as some of his rivals so for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Members Only is from a top yard and he was a fair fourth behind Cool Spice last time out but he gave the impression he was already in need of a longer trip so we are happy to side with Le Passing.
