Hannington is upped in trip here but his record over distances further than 10 furlongs is poor and the same can be said of Stoneboat Bill who has never won off a mark this high, so in an ordinary contest, MY RENAISSANCE is the tentative selection. All of his flat wins have come on the All-Weather but he has only raced four times on turf and has been in good heart this year, not least when winning a handicap hurdle at Cartmel last week. Surround Sound was well beaten ten days ago, but he regularly makes the frame and can do so again here.
