        Verdict

        Imperator Augustus made rapid strides last year but didn't escape the notice of the handicapper and is 10lb higher on his seasonal bow. He had SWIFTLY DONE just behind when second at Musselburgh in September but the latter can re-oppose on much better terms and Declan Carroll's charge gets the token vote in a wide-open race. Al Muheer and Nibani won their penultimate starts but failed to figure off higher marks last time while The Osteopath has been well beaten in a couple of starts since scoring over 7f here last month. Sound Amigo and Just Bond look best of the rest.
