In depth

Verdict

Orvar went close at Newbury last month when finishing in front of Blue De Vega and should be in the mix again. Soie D'leau ended last season with a good effort in a decent sprint at Doncaster while last year’s Wokingham winner Out Do is only 2lb higher today having run well at York earlier in the week. Dakota Gold should be sharper for a recent comeback and is preferred to Midnight Malibu but CARLTON FRANKIE returned to action after wind surgery with a close-up fourth to El Astronaute at York on Thursday and Mick Easterby’s charge should make another bold bid in this.
