Verdict

Triple Jump and River Nurey look the more plausible winners of this prize and we will stick with the former. Tim Easterby's charge was always going to struggle against Grand But One on his reappearance but he comprehensively beat the rest of the field (including Dee An Ay) at Ripon and should be difficult to beat here. River Nurey effectively sets the standard with a number of placed efforts in maidens but his yard are not exactly firing and he may be worth taking on. Aljarfliyah has taken on lofty opposition in the past without success while Java Dancer was unfancied on debut at Haydock. The Number will probably be better in time for a step up in trip. Not too much strength in depth but Triple Jump should land gold medal in this contest.
