      Verdict

Wentworth Falls is creeping closer and is preferred to Godolphin’s Big Tour given the latter recorded last year’s double over 7f. Highland Acclaim was narrowly beaten at Epsom earlier in the week but was well beaten by Dalton before that when the latter won at Redcar with Kenny The Captain back in fifth. Sheepscar Lad has been threatening a return to winning ways and DAKOTA GOLD also gave notice that he’ll be winning soon when finishing runner-up in the Great St Wilfred at Ripon and Michael Dods’ charge gets the nod in a wide-open sprint.
