Verdict

THE CONDITIONAL can see off a challenge from Gordon Elliott's pair. A winner between the flags, he couldn't quite get to Massey's Wood over this track and trip two weeks ago but had the remainder, including a long odds-on chance, well beaten and Robin The Hare fell in the early stages. Caltex looks a major threat as he couldn't quite hold off High Sparrow at Punchestown and today's longer trip will be in his favour. Kayf Thou began his career under Jack Barber and finished third in a point at Stafford Cross so he's one for the future now with Gordon Elliott. Therellalwaysbeone is consistent enough but comes up against some less exposed types.
