Verdict

Tombstone beat JETT (NAP) in a Grade 3 at Navan in December but Jessie Harrington’s charge is 3lb better off and two from two around here. He had plenty in hand last time and can reverse form with the top weight and also hold off the Mullins pair, Cadmium and Montalbano. The former is the least exposed of that duo having only had five career starts and the latter fell when favourite for a race won by the selection here in November, looking beaten at the time. Castlegrace Paddy made a winning start over fences at Fairyhouse in December but this is a big step up.
