In depth

Verdict

Broken Silence ran an excellent race over the track and trip last month and again in a very strong Navan maiden so should be finding a race soon. Bluebeard's Castle should find this surface more to his liking than Dundalk where he couldn't get close enough while any rain will suit Departmentalize, who was beaten a head by subsequent winner Teed Up on testing ground at. Knight Of Malta has only run on heavy going so connections will be hoping the ground dries out but Haifa has only run at Dundalk and has changed stables since his last run in December. Midnight Sunshine has been fading over slightly further so should find this ideal but the vote goes to EDIYVA (NAP), who had subsequent winner Darkest back in third when just failing to catch the odds-on Lady Anner at Roscommon.
