Verdict

Ferdia was beaten nine lengths into second at Killarney on Friday, his fifth placed effort in six races over fences. L'impertinent made all over hurdles at Ballinrobe and on his chasing debut there in May. He's stepping up in trip and facing better rivals but is very much on the upgrade. Say It Ain't So won a maiden hurdle back in 2020 and was returning from a long break before an impressive chasing debut success at Clonmel in April. UPPING THE ANTI has a similar profile and his 19 lengths victory over Mighty Meggsie at Kilbeggan could be given a boost by the latter in the opener. Mr Caplan has a long absence to overcome on his chasing bow and Wouldn't You Agree needs to find more.
