Verdict

Pallasmore has found the going tough since climbing the weights after completing a double in the spring. Arkendale ran his best race for a very long time behind Blaze Trainer at Kilbeggan last month but Oola Lad had to battle to get the better of Surenaga at Clonmel and has gone up 7lbs as a consequence and the runner-up may take his revenge. The hunter Defying Gravity takes a big leap in class but RATHMORE CASTLE has the ability to take this at his best. Runner-up to the useful Vic Venturi at Clonmel in October he's 1lb lower after some disappointing efforts but Maureen Danagher puts blinkers on him for the first time and hopefully they will have the desired effect.
