Verdict

Banjo made a very promising debut over fences at Roscommon and won't need much more here though TOUCH BASE can take this for Gordon Elliott. A winner over hurdles, he didn't have much of a chance against odds-on stable companion Blow By Blow at Galway in October but takes on lesser opposition and looks the type to do well this campaign. Churchtown Glen has been a beaten favourite in handicaps the last twice but takes on less experienced rivals while Torquay has shown enough ability in both starts over fences to suggest she should be winning soon.
