It's hard to know what to make of The United States, a debut winner at the Curragh last July but not seen again until April where he was disappointing. A Group 3 entry next month suggests more is expected though he may find the in-form MANALAPAN just too strong. He's only had five runs and improved with each, completing a double at the Curragh and Gowran in recent weeks, and this looks within his capabilities. Brog Deas hasn't really returned to form since a spell of hurdling and Morga will need to step up though at least she'll be well suited by the quick ground.
