Gan Eagla catches the eye here, with Kety Star, Sailor A'hoy and Make My Hay being others to consider. The Venetia Williams-trained selection comes here in good heart, having won two of his last three races, and, despite having been raised eight pounds for the latest of them, can still be competitive at this level. Kety Star has been bagging prize money from around his current rating and can do so again, while Make My Hay showed some improvement last time and, if he can keep that going, has to be considered for some money also. Sailor A'hoy seemed to appreciate the step up in trip last time when scoring at Sedgefield and, on this stiff track and with the form of that win not having worked out badly yet, he might get in amongst the action too. From among the others, Mnason is a possible improver but, for the winner, we return to Gan Eagla.
