        Verdict

        If Montys Tag can maintain his recent form, he will be hard even though this looks to be a wide-open contest. The nine-year-old found the concession of 8lb to a younger rival just too much in the closing stages at Bangor last time. And was just run out of things at the finish. A similarly game performance could bring about better fortune for him and he may have too much spirit for Maitre De Musique and Storm Of Gold if it comes down to a battle for the line.
