In depth

Verdict

RIFLEMAN has gone close under today's amateur on his last two starts including a short-head defeat at Ffos Las last week. All types of ground comes alike to Richard Lee's charge and he gets the vote. Well Green should also figure having found only one too good at Plumpton last time while Royal Chatelier finished second at Exeter the last time he raced in amateur company and is another consider. Balustrade has plenty to find with selection on latest running but a back-to-form Speedy Directa would be thereabouts at the finish.
