In depth

Verdict

Goohar has already been second three times over fences, including on his latest start at Huntingdon. But DUKE ARCADIO is less exposed and can go one better than when only beaten half-a-length by a more experienced rival on his chasing bow at Doncaster. Hurdles winner Drumviredy should handle the switch to fences as she’s already won between the flags while Crown Hill was third at Perth in September and won a day later over hurdles. Softer going might have suited Ballypoint but he can’t be ignored and Precious Ground has place claims again, despite carrying a couple of pounds overweight.
